With the teacher's aid we completed our 100 fruit loop necklaces. It was extremely difficult for many of the students to refrain from eating them during class time. At my table we made pictures of our 100 year old selves. I love how the boys get to decide if they will be bald or have moustaches or beards. When I mention it, you can tell that it is the first time many of them have considered that fact that they may look like this when they grow up! After lunch each child got to share the collection of 100 items they brought from home
Then for math we made a snack with 10 of each of these items: goldfish, chex cereal, cheerios, pretzels, raisins, mini marshmallows, colored mini marshmallows, chocolate chips, M&M's, and oyster crackers. Each year I change the ingredients a little depending on what students bring in.

After we ate our snack we went out for P.E. About 10 minutes before the end, I threw 100 balloons up in the air for them to play with. It was the perfect way to end a great day!
